Annual Student Scholarship Fact Booklet

The SUNYFAP Scholarship & Awards Committee will award annual non-renewable scholarships each year at the annual conference in April.

This scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the eligibility criteria and who have been nominated by an active SUNYFAP member.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree Program:  All candidates must have completed at least one full year of study by December 2020.
    Associate’s Degree Program:  All candidates must have completed at least 12 credit hours of study by December 2020.
  2. Student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 based on a scale of 4.0.
  3. Student must have a 2020-2021 FAFSA on file.
  4. Student must be a U.S. Citizen or Eligible Non-Citizen.
  5. Student must not be in default on a federal student loan.
  6. Student must be enrolled full-time.
  7. Student must be making satisfactory academic progress (or in good academic standing).
  8. Student must enroll full-time as a matriculated student during the Fall 2021 semester at the SUNY institution that nominated them.
  9. Student should have evidence of financial need.

The completed application and essay should be sent to your college’s Financial Aid Office by the posted deadline.
